DanVy started dancing in 2012 at a studio called Allana's Academy of Dance. A year later, she left to pursue breaking... that is when she joined Inner City Breakers. As she took weekly classes at Soulfully Driven Dance, she came to a realization that she had passion for all styles of dance which includes: popping, contemporary, waacking, hip-hop, krumping, and ballet. Eventually, she became a Soulfully Driven crew member and participated in various performances/competitions such as Verve, the 8150 Vail Dance Competition, and the Block Party just to name a few. Performance wise, she was able to participate in Denver's very own pride festival for 3 years and was able to work with B.O.B for one of his music videos. In 2015, she decided she wanted to focus on college after graduation so she left Soulfully Driven to pursue her degree(s) in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She joined Queenz of Hip-Hop in 2015. Right away, she felt empowered and inspired by the women she was able to work with. Being the youngest member of the group, she feels not only motivated in all aspects of her life but also blessed to be upon this group of women because she has gained both role models/mentors AND older sisters.
